VoIP.msConsoleisanappthattakesfulladvantageoftheAPIprovidedbyVoIP.mstoallowyouvirtuallyunlimitedcontroloveryouraccountfromyoursmartphone.Ifthey'veprovidedit,VoIP.msConsolehasit.

Theappisdesignedasaseriesofviewersandeditorsthatwrapthevarious"elements"thatmakeupyourVoIP.msaccount,andinclude:DIDs,Sub-Accounts,Filters,Voicemails,RingGroups,Forwards,Callbacks,DISAs,Queues,Recordings,IVRs,SIPURIs,TimeConditions,Phonebook,andSMS.

Theappalsointroducesnewconceptsbaseduponstandardelements.ThesenewelementtypesincludeFilterActionsandFilterGroups.ActionsallowyoutomodifytheappearanceofmatchingnumbersintheCallLog,whileFilterGroupsgiveyouaconvenientwayofcollectingtogetherfiltersthatdothesamething,butactupondifferentnumbers.

InthecaseofSMS,theappprovidesaU/IthatissimilartomanyofthenativeSMSreplacementapps.VoIP.msdoesnotprovideanysortofPUSHNOTIFICATIONSforSMSatthistime,buttheappcanbesetuptopolltheirserversonaregularbasistoletyouknowwhennewSMSarrives.Youselectthepollingintervalthatbestsuitsyouneedsandyourdatabucket.

AnotherprimaryfunctionoftheappistheCallLog,whichcanbefilteredinalmostanywayimaginable,includingmanywaysnotsupportedontheVoIP.mswebportal.ThelistautomaticallymatchesnumberswithyourAndroidandVoIP.msphonebookstoprovideacleanoverridefortheNameID(ifoneexists),andinthecaseofduplicatesinbothofyourphonebooks,youcanspecifytheorderinwhichtheappsearchesthem.

Youcanlong-pressonanyentryintheCallLogandyou'llbeableto:createaFilterbasedonit,addthenumbertoanexistingFilterGroup,createanewAndroidphonebookentry,createanewVoIP.msphonebookentry,addthenumbertoanexistingAndroidphonebookentry,orcopythenumbertotheclipboard.Theformatofthenumbersenttotheclipboard,aswellasmanyoftheCallLogattributes,areuser-selectable.Youcanalsocallupausagesummarywithyourcurrentbalance,followedbyhowmuchmoney,time,andtotalcallsyou'vemade:sincesigningup;justtoday;inthecurrentmonth;andinthepreviousmonth.

TheappcomesasaFREEinstallthathascertainlimitations.Youcanunlocktheselimitationsbypurchasingandinstallingacopyofthe"VoIP.msConsoleLicenceKey".Withoutthelicensekey,followingrestrictionsapply(seeVoIP.msConsoleLicenseKeyinthePlayStoreforfulldetails):

VoIP.msConsolealsoincludesavoicerecorder,tocreateWAVfilesthatcanbedirectlyuploadedtoVoIP.msfromyourphone(thoughinthecaseofthefreeversion,youcanonlyreplaceexistingrecordings,youcan’tcreatenewones).Usersofthepaidversioncan,forexample,createentiremulti-tieredInteractiveVoiceResponses(IVRs)orCallingQueuescompletelyfromtheirsmartphones.

ForthosewhoruntheirownbusinesseswithVoIP.ms,thepaidversionoftheappalsoincludesRESELLERfunctionality.Withityoucan:createandmanipulateclients;linkclientswithsub-accountsandDIDs;seetransactions;addchargesandcredits;seeindividualclientCallLogs;anddisplayindividualclientusagesummaries.

ThepaidversionalsoallowsyoutoORDERaDID.Alloftheavailablecities,states,provinces,andcountriesarepulleddownfromtheserver,andsotheapphasnohard-codedlimitationsinthisregard.IfVoIP.msaddsnewcitiesornewservers,youwillgainimmediateaccesstothemwithoutwaitingforanappupdate.
