Thegameisanarcadetypecasualsci-fispacewargamewhereaplayercontrolsaspaceshipandovercomeobstaclestomoveintosucceedinglevelsbyshootingenemyalienshipsusingavarietyofweaponsthatincludemissilesandlasers.Thealiensuseplasmaweaponsandarecapableofcreatingminiblackholes.Theplayershallconstantlymovehisspaceshiptoavoidcollisionswiththealienships,plasmaejecta,andminiblackholes.Collidingwithalienshipsandplasmaejectareducestheplayer’sliveswhilecollidingwithaminiblackholeendsthegameatalllevelsandtakestheplayerbacktolevel1.

TheplayershallcollectweapontokenstoactivateandchangeweaponstogainbetterscoresandshallcollectwormholetokenstogainlivesandgainaccesstoawormholetobeablejumptothenextlevelandeventuallycompletethegameatLevel5.Tokenscomesoutforcollectionatcertainnumberoflivesbelowtheinitialnumberofplayer'slives.

Thefirstfourlevelsrequirelimitedwinningscoreswhilethe5thandlastlevelrequiresveryhighwinningscore.HighscoresarebasedonhighscoresaccumulatedfromLevel1toLevel5.Thegameendswhentheplayer’slifeis0atLevel5ortheplayer’sshipissuckedbyaminiblackhole.

StoryLine

TheplayerisassignedtotraveltoamilitarybasenearaneighboringstarsystemtoreinforceEarth’smultinationalmilitaryspacefleet.ThefleetisonamissiontorescuehighrankingofficersabductedbyaliensandheldcaptiveinoneofthemoonsofanexoplanetorbitingthestarProximaB,intheAlphaCentauristarsystem.Theplayershallovercomeobstacles,hostilealienforcesheencounterswhileonhiswaytospacebetweenNeptuneandtheKuiperBelt,neartheedgeofthelocalsolarsystemtobeabletoaccessawormholesituatedbetweenPlutoandNeptune(Level5).Thewormholeistheonlygatewaytobypassthelocalspace-timecontinuumandshortenthetraveltimetotheAlphaCentauristarsystem.

ThegameendsuponcompletionofLevel5untilfurtherdevelopment.

Inthemainsettingsscreen,theplayermay[select]hischoiceofspaceshipandthedifficultylevelhechoosestoplay.Therearesixdifficultylevelstochoosefrom;easy,moderate,normal,hard,veryhard,andextremedifficultylevels.Resetbuttonsarealsoavailabletoclearthescoresandtheopenlevelsincasetheplayerfinishedthegameatacertaindifficultylevelandwishtoplayforafreshstart.
