Aeroplane Chess

Twotofourplayerseachtrytogetalltheirownplanepiecesfromtheirhangars,locatedatthecornersoftheboard,intothebaseoftheirowncolorinthecenteroftheboard.Eachplayertakesaturnbyrollingthedice.Onaturnaplayermaydothefollowing:

1.Taxiapieceoutofthehangarontotheboard.Thiscanonlybedonebyrollinganevennumber.

2.Moveapiecethat'sontheboardclockwisearoundthetrack,thenumberofspacesindicatedbythedice.

Additionalrulesare:

1.Arollof6,whetherit'susedtoenterormoveapiece,givesthatplayeranotherroll.Asecond6givestheplayerathirdroll.Iftheplayerrollsathird6,anypiecesmovedbythefirsttwo6'smustreturntotheirhangarandplaypassestothenextplayer.

2.Whenaplayerlandsonanopponent'spiece,theopponentreturnsthatpiecetoitshangar.

3.Whenaplanelandsonaspaceofitsowncolor,itimmediatelyjumpstothenextspaceofitsowncolor.Anyopposingplanessittingonthesesquaresaresentbacktotheirhangars.

4.Thereareadditional"shortcut"squares.Whenaplanelandsononeoftheseofitsowncolor,itmaytaketheshortcut,andanyopposingplanesinthepathoftheshortcutaresentbacktotheirhangars.Thismayalsobydoneinsuccessionwiththepreviousrule,withajumpleadingtoshortcut.Somealsoplaythatadirectlandonashortcutmaybefollowedbyajump.

5.Whenaplanelandsonanotherplaneinitsownfleet,theplayermay"stack"thepiecesandmovethemasonepieceuntiltheyreachthecenterorarelandedonbyanopponent.Whenstackedpiecesaresentbacktotheirhangarbyanopponentlandingonthem,theyarenolongerstacked.

Endingthegame
Planemustflyintothecenterbaseonanexactroll.Whenaplanedoesso,itisplacedfacedownbackinitsownhangar,indicatingthatitisdoneforthegame.Thefirstplayertogetalloffouroftheirplanestothecenteroftheboardwins.Therestplayuntilthereisonlyoneloser.
