Dependingontheseattributes,eachplayerwillbequalifiedtojoinalimitednumberofplayerclasses(occupations).Morebalancedplayerswillhavemorechoices,includingHirebrand(fighter),Mage,PriestandThief.Lesscommonly,playersmaybequalifiedforahighlyselectiveclasswithspecialskillssuchasRanger,Sage,Paladin,SamuraiorNinja.

Unlikegameswhichfocusonasingleplayeragainstmultipleopponents,Oublietteallowsapartyofupto10playerswithcomplementaryskillstofacethevarioustypesofmonstersfoundinthedungeon.Therearemorethan160differentmonsters,andtodealwiththem,morethan150differentpiecesofequipment,whichmaybeenchantedwithspecialpropertiesorskills.
