Thedemandformeatcontinuesunabatedbutthecostofitsproductionistoohighandcannotbesustainedintermsofwater,landandenergyrequired.

Hungryandadversetochangetheireatinghabits,humansscourunscrupulouslyeverycorneroftheplanetinsearchofthelatestresourcesavailable.

Awareoftheimpendingfoodcatastrophe,Vegezioisanemployeewhodecidedtochangelifestyleafewyearsearlier,becomingaveganfarmerandmovinginavalleybetweenthemountains,wherehebuilthisveganhappyfarm.

Unfortunately,thestarvingpopulationhasreachedhisfarm,andVegezioisforcedtodefenditfromtheattacksofthecarnivores,whowanttoeathisanimalfriends(whichofcoursehekeepsonlyasacompany).

However,Vegezioisagoodveganmanandhasnointenttokillpeople;sohedecidestofeedhumanswiththeveganproductsofhisfarm,withthepurposeofbothsavinghisanimals,andtryingtomakepeopleunderstandthatadifferentfoodhabitistheonlypossiblesolutiontosolvethefoodshortage.

ThegamewillbeginonJanuary2050,andwillendonDecember2050.Eachmonthwillconsistinfourlevels.Vegeziomustbeabletowithstandattacksfeedingthepopulationwithveganfood.

TheultimategoalistochangethelifestyleofallthehumansontheEarth,inordertoawaketheirconsciousnessandbringsocialpeace.

Withthehelpofitsvegetablesandfruittrees,Vegeziomustbeabletofeedthecarnivoresbeforetheygettoeathisanimals.

Foreachlevel,Vegeziohasalimitednumberofresourcesavailablethatallowhimtoplacethedifferentplantsinthestrategicpointsofthepaththatleadstothefarm.

Thelastdefenseisthegateofthefarmthathoweveroffersalimitedresistance:thecarnivoreswillstriketryingtobringitdown.Onceknockeddownthegate,theanimalswillnomorehavedefensesandwillbedevoured,causingthefailureofthelevel.

Thecarnivoreswillarriveinwaveswithincreasingnumberandfrequency.Vegeziomustcarefullychoosethetypeofplantanditslocationaccordingtothetypeofcarnivores,basedonthepaththattheyfollow,andtheamountofresourcesavailable.

Insomelevels,Vegezioalsohassomespecialweaponsavailablesuchasthe"sheepdog"whichwithitsscarybarkisabletoparalyzethecarnivoresforacertainperiodoftimeorthe"rain"thatcantemporarilyslowdownthecarnivoresonthepath.

Foreachfedcarnivore,Vegeziogainsnewresourcesthatcanbeusedtoplacenewvegetablesortomakea"power-up".

Onceplacedor"powered-up",theplantscanalsoberemoved,obtaininganumberofresourcesanywaylowerthanthoseusedfortheirplacement.

Incaseofsuccess,thescoreiscalculatedconsideringthecarnivoresfed,thetimespent,theaccumulatedresourcesandthegate'sresidualresistance.

Incaseofdifficulty,Vegezioalsohasaninitialnumberofdiamondsavailablewithwhichhecanbuy"addons"tobeusedwithinaspecificlevel.The“addons”includeraisingthesatiatingpoweroftheplants,theincreaseofresources,theincreaseofthenumberofstrokesofthespecialweaponsandtheincreaseoftheresistanceofthegate.Theaddonspurchasedwillbeonlyusedfortheselectedlevelanduntilhiscompletion.Incasethelevelisabandoned,thepower-upsandrelateddiamondswillbelost.
