Inalandfar,farawaythereoncewasavastcontinentcalledMilton.Itwasalandwherethepowerofrulecamebytheswordandthearcane,whereMenwhodevotedthemselvestothebladeortomagecraft,couldbecomethefinestwarriors,wisestwizardsorthegreatestadventurers.Inthisland,thereareseveralkingdomsdividedbybordersbutunitedthroughhistory.Countlessstoriesofalliances,upheaval,andmomentsofpeacebedeckthistapestry,butthatisataleforanotherday.

Ourstorybeginsinaremotekingdomtothenorth,Iblis,anobscureandoft-forgottenplace.Itisawildandbarrenland,aplacewhereitspeoplescrapealivingfromtheearth,miningmineralsforthelordsofthesouth.Onoccasion,adventurerswouldstopbyforthenightbutneverlinger.Untiloneday,afledglingadventurerlosthiswayandstumbledintoahole.Thestorymighthaveendedthenhadhenotcomeback,butreturnhedid,withsacksofgoldandglitteringtreasure.

Likeafiercegalefromthenorth,newsofhisfameandfortunefannedacrossthekingdomsovernight,andkingssenttheirbravestwarriorsandadventurerstoclearthecavernofmonstersinsearchoftreasure.Evenpeasantswantingapartofthisnewfoundwealthpartookintheseexpeditions.Innotimeatall,abustlingtownhadsprungupinthisforgottenplace.Peoplesetupcamps,andformedtheirowngroupstoexplorethecave.Clevermerchantsnotmissingthisopportunity,builttavernsandshopsnearthecave,sellingequipmentandpotionstoeageradventurers.Atfirsteverythingseemedfine.Asexplorersdelvedintothecaves,theyencounterednewcreaturesanddiscoverednewtreasures.Mysteriescontinuedtopouredforthfromthecave,yetnobodyknewwherethesourceofthesecretslay.However,astheexplorationscontinued,thebalanceofwealthbeyondthecavebegantowaver,andcracksappearedamongthoseadventurerswhohadpreviouslyworkedarm-in-arm.Thelatecomersorweak,limitedtowanderingtheupperlevelsofthecave,couldonlywatchastheveteranadventurersbroughttreasureaftertreasurefromthedeep.Theybeganharboringdarkthoughtsastheywatchedtheveteranadventurersgrowarrogantfromtheirlargesse,orderingpeoplearound,hoardingsecretsfromtherest.Theplacebecameafesteringpoolofsuspicionsandgreed,miredinjealousrage.

Itstartedwithanadventurerdisappearinginthecave.Rumorscirculatedhehadfoundsomelegendarytreasureandhoardeditforhimself.Otherssaidhehadbeenguidedtoanotherworldbysomemysteriousmagicforceinthecave.Stilltheunspokenbeliefwasthathehadbeenmurderedbyarivalpartyandwasburiedsomewherebeneaththecaverns.Nobodyknowsexactlywhathappened,butpeoplehavecontinuedtodisappeareversince.Asmorepeoplehavegonemissing,someadventurershavecalleditquits,othersclingtohope,andafewcontinuetowaitandsee.Whichbringsustoyou,anordinaryyoungman,comingintothisextraordinarycircumstancewithpurposesunknowntoothers.Mayyoufindwhatyouseekin...
