These3stepsareconstantlyexecutedsoanyuserinputwillhaveaneffectonthenextimagethatwillberendered,andthereforetheusercanmovearoundandinteractwiththevirtualworld.
TheVR-Cloud®solutionperformstherenderingandtheupdatingofthevirtualworldontheserverandtheclientonlydisplaystheimagesandchecksforuserinput.Thisimpliesthattherenderedimageshavetobesenttotheclient.Imagesarebeingconstantlyrenderedandthereforehavetobeconstantlysenttotheclientwhichwilldisplaythemontheuserscreen.Thismechanismisverysimilartovideostreamingandthesametechnologiesareinvolved,whichmakestheVR-Cloud®solutioncompatiblewiththevastmajorityofcomputersanddevices.
Tointeractwiththevirtualworld,theuserisperformingvariousinputonhis/herowncomputerordevice.Keystrokesandmouseeventsgeneratedbytheuseractionsaregatheredbytheclientandsenttotheserver.Theserverwillapplythemasiftheywereinputlocallysotheusercaninteractlikeinanyother3Dvirtualrealityapplication.
