DevelopedinpartnershipwithformerKCCI-TV(DesMoines,IA)meteorologistJohnMcLaughlintoprovideasimplifieddisplayofadvancedradardataandSafetyNetAlertingtomultiplelocationswithuser-definablethresholds.McLaughlinpioneeredtheuseofDopplerradarforseverestormtrackingonIowatelevision,workingwithBobBaronofBaronWeathertodevelopandinstallthenation'sfirstHighDefinitionDopplerradar(VHDD)in1995.StormHunterallowsyoutheoptiontoselectnotificationasstormsbegintoproducelighting,hail,orrotationsoyoucanbealertedevenbeforeofficialwarningsareissued.Uptoeightlocationscanbespecifiedsoyoucanmakesureyourlovedonesknowwhendangerousweatherapproaches.
