ThebasiccourseinChristianfaith,“SpreadingtheWord–StepstoFaith”,wasdevelopedbecausemanypeoplewouldliketobecomeacquaintedwiththeChristianfaithinasimpleandsystematicmanner.Thecourseconsistsof10compactlessons,eachwithfivemainthoughts.ThelengthofeachlessonwaskepttoaminimumandreferstoimportantkeyversesintheBiblethatareaccompaniedbygraphics.Thesehelpdemonstratetheversessothatthecontentcanbemoreeasilycommunicatedandunderstood.Thereforethecourseisquiteflexibleandcanbeusedversatilely–one-on-oneorinagroupsituation–andsimultaneouslyinseverallanguages(German,Farsi/Persian,English,Russian,TurkishandArabic).
“SpreadingtheWord–StepstoFaith”beginswiththefundamentaldoctrineofChristianityandleadstoapersonalencounterwithJesusChrist,thelivingSonofGod.EventodayGod’sHolySpiritopenspeople’seyessotheycanbelieveinJesusChristwiththeirwholeheartandfollowHim.Thiscross-linguisticbasiccourseinChristianfaithisacreativewaytopassontheGoodNews.
Thecourseissetupinamethodicalway,sothatasolidChristiancanleadaninterestedpersontofaithinJesusChristusingthe10lessons.Everylessonshouldbeginwithaprayerandthenbeexplainedinabout30minutes.Eachlessonconcludeswithquestionstodigdeeperandbridgethegaptothenextlesson.Inthisway,theentirefaithcoursecanbeexplainedin10meetings.ItisrecommendedthattheparticipantsmemorizethesignificantBibleversestobeabletobetterunderstandtheGoodNewsandacceptitintotheirhearts.InthiswaytheywillmakeroomintheirlivesforthelivingGodandhisWordand,asaresult,receivetheopportunitytoexperienceGodpersonallyandintensely.
