YoumayjustinstallourCompass-DirectionsonMaps,openthecompassappandplacethemobileonaflatsurfacefacingtherooforholditparalleltothesurface.NowyourmobileworkslikearegularcompassshowingalldirectionsNorthEastWestandSouthneedlepointingtoNorth.PleasenotethatthedirectionneedlebydefaultpointstowardsNorthlikeanyothercompassthroughwhichotherdirectionsalsocanbedetermined.ThisworksonGPStobeclear.Thedirectionneedleswingsverysmoothlygivingyouminutedetailing.CompasscanbeusedwiththemapsbackgroundintwodifferentmodesMapsmodeandMapsSatellitemodeenablingyoutoknowtheaccuratedirectionfromyourlocation.PleasenotethatCompassappworksonlyifyourmobileisequippedwithamagneticsensorfortheoptimumusage.

Maps(SatelliteMode):InMapsSatelliteMode,thecompassisdisplayedontheMapsshowingyourcurrentlocationwithdirections(North,East,West&South)onmapsinsatellitemodewhererealimagesaredisplayedhelpingustofindoutwhereweareplacedandwhichdirectionweareheadingonthemaps.(GPStobeenabled)

NightMode:Innightmode,thecompassshallbeusedinthenightswhenyouarestruckinanisolatedlocationinthedark.Inthesamescreen,youhaveanoptiontoswitchontheflashtorchlighticonreadilyavailableonthescreen.YouhaveatogglebuttontoON/OFFtheflashlightofyourmobile.

PleasenotethattheCompassappiseffectiveonlyifyourmobileisequippedwithmagneticsensor.Howeverintoday’sscenario,almostalllatestsmartandroidphoneshavethisasabuilt-infeature.
