Withestimatedtotalsalesofover5billioncopies,theBibleiswidelyconsideredtobethebest-sellingbookofalltime.Ithasestimatedannualsalesof100millioncopies,andhasbeenamajorinfluenceonliteratureandhistory,especiallyintheWestwheretheGutenbergBiblewasthefirstmass-printedbook.Itwasthefirstbookeverprintedusingmovabletype.
