TheTacticalAssaultKitisDoDnomenclaturefortheTeamAwarenessKit(TAK)application:amissionplanning,geospatial,FullMotionVideo(FMV),andsystemadministratortoolthatreducestheoperationalfootprintfromatacticallaptop,toacommercialmobiledevice.ThegeospatialengineandcommunicationscomponentsupportDepartmentofDefense(DoD)andcommercialsectorstandards.ExtensibilityofthecoreplatformissupportedbytheSoftwareDevelopmentKit(https://takmaps.com/),whichenablesanypartnertodevelopmission-specificcapabilityorcontributetotheadvancementofthebaseline.Datacanbepre-loadedintoATAKordownloadedfromthenetworkwhenavailable.
