Surah AlKahf with Sound

SurahalKahfisthe18thSurahofQuranandittellsthestoryofthebelieversinancienttimewhowhenreceivedthemessageofTruthacceptedit.However,theyweretofaceretaliationfromthesocietytheylivedinandhencethefleefromthecityandfoundprotectioninacavewhereAllahAlmightygavethemsleepthatlastedforcenturiesandtillthentheirwholecityhadconvertedintobelievers.

ThisSurahgivesthemessagethatthosewhobelieveinAllahandaskforprotectionfromHim,Hegivesthemthebestprotectionthelikesofwhichtheworldhasneverseen.Besidesthisilluminatingmessage,theSurahalsocomeswithavarietyofvirtuesasdescribedinthehadithofProphetMuhammad.Thelinesbelowdiscussthosevirtues.

“WhoeverreadsSurahalKahfonthedayofJummahwillhavealightthatwillshinefromhimfromoneFridaytothenext.”(al-Jaami)

Therefore,onFridaynight,aMuslimmustfindtimetositdownandreadSurahalKahfandbecomeoneoftheblessedones.

ProphetMuhammad(SalAllahoAlehiWasallam)said:

“OnewhomemorizedthefirsttenversesofSurahalKahfwillbesecureagainsttheDajjal(Anti-Christ).”(Muslim)
