HRT METEO

AuniqueapplicationthatenablesthemonitoringofmeasurementsandobservationsfromtheofficialmeteorologicalstationsoftheNationalMeteorologicalandHydrologicalServiceofCroatia(DHMZ),aswellasmostotherEuropeanmeteorologicalservices,accordingtoWorldMeteorologicalOrganizationstandards.TheapplicationalsoprovidesradarprecipitationimagesandprognosesofDHMZexperts,whichuntilnowwereonlyavailableonCroatianradioandtelevisionprograms,aswellasCroatianAutoClub(HAK)trafficinformation,includinglivevideostreamingfrommostCroatianregions.

Unlikevirtuallyallothersimilarapplications,whereprognosesaretheresultofacomputercalculatednumericalweatherforecastofoneatmosphericmodel,HRTMETEO'sexperiencedandhighlyeducatedmeteorologistsmaketheirprognosesonthebasisofananalysisofcurrentweatherconditionsandhundredsofcalculationsforvariousatmosphericmodels,providingtheirforecastoffutureatmosphericconditionsandconditionsatseaforregionsandurbanareas.Theyalsoprovidesevereweatherwarnings,whichappearontheappwithinminutesofthemeteorologist'sforecastfortheDHMZ.
