Theplayercontrolsthecharacterbygoingfromlefttoright,andifanenemyappearsinattackrange,theplayerautomaticallyshootsaconstantswingingswordattack.
Beforepreparingforeachwaveofcombat,playerscanpicktwoofavarietyofskillsthatareusedtoenhancethefight.
Playersearngoldcoinsbycompletingawaveofquests,andgoldcoinswillalsofallfromenemiesthatareslain,buttheymustbeobtainedbywalkingover,whichisriskyfortheplayerbecauseofthedamagethiscancausetohimself.
Destroyallinvadingenemiesintheallottedtimeandthegamewillbewon.
Iftheplayeriskilledorthewallofmagicisdestroyedbyanenemy,thegameendsinfailure.
