ZENTRAUtilityisthenewestwaytointeractwithyourMETERdataloggers.UsingBluetoothLow-Energy(BLE),youcanwirelesslyconnecttoyourdatalogger,viewinformationabouttheloggerandsensorsandconfiguretheloggeraccordingtoyourneeds.

CONNECT
ZENTRAmakesiteasytoconnecttoMETERdataloggers.ThefirstscreenyouwillseeistheDevicescreen.Whileonthisscreen,ZENTRAautomaticallyscansforMETERdataloggersnearyou.Onceyouseetheloggeryou'dliketoconnectto,simplytaponit.ZETNRAwillestablishaBluetoothconnectionandgatherinformationfromthelogger.

VIEW
Onceconnectedtoalogger,youwillbeabletoseedeviceandsensorinformation.Thisincludesbattery,datastorageavailability,serialnumber,measurementintervalandmore.Foryoursensors,youwillseethecurrentreading.Ifyouwanttorefreshthedata,simplytapRefresh.Also,bydefaultAutoRefreshisturnedonwhichwillupdatesensorvaluesforyouevery30seconds.ThiscanbeturnedonandoffunderPreferences.

CONFIGURE
TappingonConfigurewillallowyoutosetupyourloggerinawaythatsuitsyourneeds.Hereyoucanchangethedevicename,sitename,measurementinterval,cellularsettingsandportconfiguration.

CELLULARNETWORK
Ifyouhaveacellular-enabledlogger,youwillbeabletotestthecurrentcellularnetworkconnectiontomakesureyourloggercantalktoZENTRACloud.Youmayalsosearchforcarrierstoseewhichcarriersareavailabletotheloggerinthearea.

SMARTSCANNING
HeavyuseofBluetoothmaydrainthebatteryonyourdevice.However,ZENTRAUtilityhelpssaveyourbatterylifebydoingthefollowing:

1)Automaticallystoppingscanstoconnectifscanninghasbeengoingonforsometimewithnouserinteraction.
2)Scanningfordevicesonlywhiletheappisopen.
3)CommunicatingviaBluetoothonlywhenyouwantto(i.e.whenyouwanttorefreshdata,changeasetting,runacelltest,etc.).
