‘DubaiRadioforQuran’isanewradiostationlaunchedbyHamdanbinMohammedHeritageCenter,whichstemsfromthedirectiveofHerHighnessSheikhaHindbintMaktoumbinJumaAlMaktoum,thewifeofHisHighnessSheikhMohammedBinRashidAlMaktoum,theVice-PresidentandPrimeMinisteroftheUAEandRulerofDubai.TheradiostationairsacrosstheUAEatafrequencyof91.4FM.ItisconsideredtobeavaluablepartoftheDubaimedialandscapeandforemost,thisinitiativesuccessfullyfallsundertheumbrellaoftheMohammedbinRashidGlobalCentreforEndowmentConsultancy,akeyglobalinitiativeofHisHighnessSheikhMohammedbinRashidAlMaktoum.
Inaddition,‘DubaiRadioforQuran’willhaverecitalsoftheholyQuranatvarioustimingstosuitalllisteners,whowillbeprovidedwiththeopportunitytocompletethewholeQuran,bylisteningtoaudiobroadcasts.Thestationwillalsoprovidereligiousprogrammesbasedonmoderate,centralIslamictenetsofpeaceandforgiveness,withitsradiobroadcastsassistinglistenersinunderstandingfastingandthecoreprinciplesoftheIslamicfaith.ItsprogrammeswillalsoincludesuggestedAdhkaar(supplications)formorningsandevenings,andarangeofTafseer(Quraninterpretations).
